Bridge Park in Brooklyn Heights, as he hosted a free recreation celebration for

Borough President Adams, joined by community advocates such as Organizations
United for Trash Reduction & Garbage Equity (OUTRAGE) and civic leaders
like Brooklyn Community Board 1 (CB 1) District Manager Gerald A. Esposito,
addressed the media in Greenpoint on the feared environmental and public
health harm that could have result from the State’s initial plans for implosion
of the Kosciuszko Bridge.

Borough President Adams picked up some healthy snacks at the launch of his
Brooklyn Healthy Workplace Challenge in collaboration with the American
Heart Association (AHA), aimed at changing the dietary and exercise habits at
businesses across the borough; the announcement took place in the Brooklyn
Navy Yard at 1776, a startup incubator participating in the challenge.
