Atlantic City, New Jersey

It’s certainly not what it used to be, especially with several closures of hotels and
casinos, but it can still offer a decent amount of fun for a day or two. Even if you can’t
(or don’t choose to) gamble, the shopping district is impressive along with the rides
and games on the beach during warm weather.
Restaurants such as Carmine’s still have a presence. And if you’re of age, gambling
is still the prime attraction. Just be responsible because your hard-earned dough
could go fast.
There is something that is still special about seeing a show in Atlantic City. Whether
it’s your favorite comedian or band, entering one of the casinos’ intimate venues and
seeing high quality entertainment up close is still loads of fun. Then exiting the show,
you’re brought right back to the gambling.
Sure, it’s better as a summer attraction, especially if you’re in your teens, but

For the old soul in you, Lancaster remains a favorite spot. If you
enjoy antiquing, you have your pick of great spots.
You can find just about anything that suits your interests at
these giant shops, including sports memorabilia, vintage toys,
collectibles and home décor, not to mention that the area has that
far-away vibe to it.
Whichever way you slice it, Amish country is an enlightening
experience that you should check out.
