What’s hot and what’s not
Whether you’re killing time in
between classes or having a
movie night with your friends,
you’re probably struggling
to decide what to watch on
Netflix. With over 100 million
hours of content to stream, it’s difficult to sift
through the heaps of shows and movies. Here’s
a handy list of what’s hot and what’s not to help
you pencil in your watch list.
Not: Adam Sandler
Netflix has partnered with Adam Sandler’s
company Happy Madison for eight original films
and so far it hasn’t worked out. Of the four films
already released, the average critic score on
Rotten Tomatoes is a meager 17%. The average
audience score is a little better at about 38%, but
that still means that more than half of the people
watching Adam Sandler’s Netflix movies don’t
like them.

Hot: Marvel
It’s hard not to make Marvel a winner in
everything these days, but they’re certainly
winning on Netflix. There are several feature
Marvel films (Black Panther, Thor Ragnarok,
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) and a number
of original Marvel shows (Daredevil, The
Punisher, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, The Iron
Fist, etc.) available for streaming. In the age of
superheroes, Netflix delivers.
