The history of Nintendo is extremely
robust. It resurrected the video game
market after the 1983 crash. It created
innovative ways to play and many iconic
characters that rival Mickey Mouse in
popularity.
Other than Pac-Man, the creation of Mario
and Donkey Kong and giving these mascots
personalities was a first. Nintendo is a company
that thinks outside the box. It originated as a card
company in 1889, and continued in the toy field,
and a lot of those elements can be seen in today’s
product.
Not everything it touched has turned to gold
(check out the Virtual Boy). But the creations have
influenced the gaming world more often than not.
If you’re young, you owe it to yourself to check
out the earlier systems. It’s tough to rank these
machines that exude nostalgia and high quality of
gaming. But here are best Nintendo has brought to
the world in terms of hardware.

experiences at home.
It made a lot of parents angry to buy a new
system after their kids probably owned a ton of
regular Nintendo games, but it was a small price
to pay to have a system that is still beloved.
Plus, it worked a lot better than the original
NES and most games allowed you to save your
progress, which didn’t happen too often with its
predecessors.
Super Nintendo
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System
(SNES) was a revelation when it was released.
Sure, the 8-bit system changed the game, but
cleaner graphics allowed for developers’ creative
minds to take over and create much longer and
more enriching experiences. Not to mention, it has
aged so gracefully.
If you’re into 2D side scrolling platformers,
fighters and RPGs, this is still an ideal system to go
back to and play iconic titles. Loved “Super Mario
Bros. 3?” Well, “Super Mario World” is even better,
filled with secrets, prolonging the gameplay. This
