BEST ROLLER COASTERS Kingda Ka (Six Flags: Great Adventure) Warning! If you’re a moderate fan of rides, you might want to try some of the milder rides before stepping onto Kingda Ka. This ride is no joke. It will be done seemingly in the blink of an eye. The structure is a big U-shape that basically catapults its riders up to 45 stories before its drop. Perhaps its claim to fame however is accelerating from 0 to 120 miles per hour in less than four seconds! That certainly gets your attention. Its drop is nothing to sneeze at either. When you feel that you’re ready to take on this challenge and you have the stomach for it, Kingda Ka may be the pinnacle of these local coasters. Courtesy of six flags
