But, even as graduation closes the door on one chapter of your life, another one opens. For college students, commencement means it’s time to move on to the working world. Yes, some will go on to grad school, but way more recent grads choose to start their careers, even if they later return to school. That’s exhilarating, if somewhat unsettling, at least at first, but it’s amazing how quickly you adapt. For high school students, the move on to college is epic. For many, it is the first time they will be away from home for an extended period of time and that brings with it tremendous excitement as well as maybe a few butterflies in the stomach. But, rest assured, like the many who have gone before you, you will weather the transition and emerge more independent for it. If you don’t believe it, turn to our in-depth interview with “Hamilton” star Anthony Ramos, who tells us the amazing and unlikely story of how he made it big. Of course, many students are just moving up to the next level, and for them, summer can just be about relaxing, exploring, catching some rays and certainly making up for lost sleep. If you’re looking for some fun locally, check out our articles on some of the northeast’s best roller coasters, and local hiking trails that beckon those with a desire to experience the great outdoors. If partying is more your thing, our article on outdoor events will get you started on the right foot, or, if you want to head farther afield, our story on taking a fabulous road trip is ready and waiting. Of course, whether you head to the beach, or pound the city streets, you want to look good. We’ve got you covered – check out our fashion spreads that highlight the hottest looks for summer, including some on-line sources for reasonably priced swimsuits, always a great score. And, speaking of great scores, our story on finding affordable tech gear is a must read as is our piece on sensational summer books. Just because you don’t have to crack the books for school doesn’t mean you shouldn’t open ones you really want to read. So, relax, enjoy, and we’ll see you in September.
