BY JAIME DEJESUS THE MOVIE
It’s a constant battle between friends
and yourself. When a FILM is based on a
widely popular book, the question is:
Which is better, the FILM or the book?
Some will always go for the book. After
all, a book has plenty of time to paint
pictures in your head, develop characters,
give proper diction and context. Also,
it’s your imagination. The characters can
resemble whomever you want.
But it’s not always the case. Sometimes
FILMMAKERS take a good piece of
literature and make it even better
thanks to visuals or even a better
understanding of the characters. Here
are some of my humble opinions on which
fares better.
