This month, the streets of Astoria boasted an eclectic mix of styles, partially due to the ever-changing weather. Spring appears to have awoken the artists within us all, and I found myself absolutely delighted by the sheer mix of styles, patterns and colors on display. She looked sexy-cool in her pink mini dress and denim jacket. New mom Mina was pushing her baby in a stroller, somehow looking effortlessly cool. The proportions of the crop top worn over the oversized shirt make this outfit simple yet modern. Douglas Goodhart does indeed have a good heart (I asked him and he assured me that that was the case). I was struck by his jade-colored chinos worn with a white shirt. Douglas is a musician and has his own band called Douglas and the Goodharts. S Amber was on her way to Chinatown to take photos. She is an artist, musician and photographer living in Astoria. I loved her flirty floral spring dress, dressed down with white sneakers. Turn and face the spring The layered necklace is a great alternative to a big statement piece. Maria wore six together, very on trend without being too in your face.
