not only counting down to 5pm, and Alive After
Five. This summer will the popular summer
street festival’s 17th year on Patchogue’s Main
Street. Happening on June 28th, July 19th,
August 2nd and 16th, Alive After Five is a free
summer street fair with six stages of live music
and entertainment, more than 90 craft and
retail vendors, food trucks, children’s activities
and amusements, nightly giveaways and much
more. A huge hit for Long Island, every year
Alive After Five gets the community together to

Yvonne Dagger and Long Island’s best friend,
Dagger DogVinci are a remarkable painter team
and talent who create colorful masterpieces for
all to admire. Since Dagger and Yvonne’s story
went viral, they have sold hundreds of paintings
with a portion of all sales going to animal and
people related charities. They have appeared
on the Rachael Ray Show, The Today Show,
in Newsday numerous times, and on Inside
Edition, to name a few. Recently, a documentary
was made of Dagger and in addition he is

NELSON DEMILLE
Nelson DeMille is a New York Times bestselling
author who wrote “Plum Island,” “The
Lion,” “The Panther” and more. Born in NYC
and raised on Long Island, DeMillie attended
Hofstra University for three years before joining
the Army. When he finished his service, he
returned to Hofstra to receive his bachelor’s
in Political Science and History. DeMille’s first
major novel was “By the Rivers of Babylon,”
which was published in 1978 and still remains
in print among DeMille’s novels. DeMillie is a
member of American Mensa, The Authors Guild,
and is past president of the Mystery Writers of
America, and holds three honorary doctorates.
