Cops have arrested a suspect
in the alleged sexual assault
of adolescent twin sisters.
resident Hajem Alchtiwi, who resides near Third Avenue
and 85th Street, was charged with sexual abuse, forcible
touching and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
According to the NYPD, which sent out its original
media alert on Wednesday, January 31, the man is suspected
of repeatedly touching the victims’ buttocks as
they traveled on the bus in the vicinity of 86th Street
and 20th Avenue, within the 62nd Precinct, on their
way to school.

MAN BUSTED FOR ROBBING DELI AT
GUNPOINT: A 32-year-old man was arrested
for robbing an employee at a deli at Bath
Avenue and Bay 31st Street at gunpoint on
Tuesday, January 30. According to reports,
at around 12:15 a.m., the alleged perp broke
into the store, took out the gun, and pressed
it against the man. He then allegedly directed
the victim to the store’s cash register and
forced him to open it. The suspect took $950
from the machine and fled the scene northbound
on Bay 31st Street from Bath Avenue.
No injuries were sustained by the victim.
FIVE AGAINST ONE: Five men robbed a
20-year-old man at gunpoint while he was sitting
in his car near Bay 13th Street and Cropsey
Avenue on Friday, February 2. Reports claim
that at around 4 a.m., the victim was smoking
cigarettes in his car when a dark gray vehicle
pulled up. The crooks got out of the car, armed
with handguns and a black BB gun, and asked
the victim if he had any drugs, money or
valuables. One of the perps went through the
victim's car and stole a phone, keys and $30.
The perps then fled westbound on Cropsey
Avenue. No arrests have been made.

WIFE ARRESTED IN ALLEGED STAB ATTACK:
A 25-year-old woman was arrested for
allegedly stabbing her 29-year-old husband
inside in apartment near 65th Street and 16th
Avenue. According to reports, at around
midnight, the woman allegedly stabbed
her husband with a kitchen knife in his
abdomen, giving him what cops described
as a minor puncture wound. The victim was
transferred to Coney Island Hospital and
received three stitches.
BOYFRIEND BUSTED: A 29-year-old man
was arrested on Wednesday, January 31 for
allegedly punching his 35-year-old girlfriend
and striking her in the head with a broomstick
in an apartment near West Ninth
Street and Avenue S. According to reports, at
around 9:45 p.m., the man allegedly punched
the victim several times in the face, strangled
her, and hit her in the head with the stick.
MAN ARRESTED FOR STRIKING GIRLFRIEND:
A 29-year-old man was arrested
for attacking his 21-year-old girlfriend,
striking her with a liquor bottle and a knife
sharpener. According to reports, at around
10 a.m., the alleged perp pushed the woman
to the floor, kicked her and struck her on her
arm and legs.

68TH PRECINCT
The 68th Precinct serves Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and
Fort Hamilton.
SUCKER PUNCH: A shoplifter punched the 30-year-old owner
of a discount store near Fourth and Ovington Avenues on
Tuesday, January 30, at around 5:40 p.m., when he tried to stop
her. According to reports, the victim stated that the alleged perp
attempted to steal a scarf. As she was walking out the store, he
approached her. The woman claimed she didn’t steal anything,
then punched him in the nose and fled in an unknown direction.
No arrests have been made.
COWARD ATTACKS, ROBS 54-YEAR-OLD WOMAN: A
54-year-old woman was attacked and robbed of her purse by
an unknown male perp while walking home near Fifth and Bay
Ridge Avenues on Wednesday, January 31. Reports claim that at
around 7 p.m., the victim was pushed from behind and punched
in the head. The crook then nabbed the bag containing credit
cards and fled the scene in a red vehicle. No arrests have been
made.
BURGLAR NABS JEWELRY: An unknown burglar broke into a
home near 85th Street and 13th Avenue belonging to a 42-yearold
woman and stole jewelry sometime between 5 p.m. on Friday,
February 2 and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 4. Reports claim
that while the victim was away from home, unknown crooks
broke in through the second floor rear bedroom window, breaking
the screen and unlocking the window in the process. The
perp then stole the goods and fled the scene through the same
window. No arrests have been made.

man wanted in connection to the crime, which
occurred in Borough Park on Saturday, April
29, 2017.
The NYPD, which sent out a media alert to
that end on Tuesday, February 6, says that at
around 6:45 p.m., the two victims — a 22-yearold
woman and a 26-year-old man — were shot
at as they left their home at 18th Avenue and 53rd
Street by two men who drove by them in a gray
minivan and fired before fleeing. The victims
were not injured in the incident.
On Saturday, May 10, 27-year-old Gravesend
resident Philip Paternostro was arrested and
charged with attempted assault and criminal
possession of a firearm in connection with the
incident.
The second suspect, who hasn’t been arrested,
is described as a white male in his late 20s.
He was last seen wearing a baseball cap.
