Suspect sought for forcibly touching
woman aboard B6 bus in Bensonhurst area
43-year-old Dyker Heights resident arrested for
trespassing on local school property
Police have arrested 43-yearold
Shu Chan for criminal
trespassing in the third
degree after he allegedly entered a
Dyker Heights school, having previously
reportedly attempted to take
photographs nearby.
According to reports, on
Wednesday, November 8 at around
12:45 p.m., a 37-year-old woman
told police she confronted the
suspect near 83rd Street and 13th
Avenue for taking photographs
near St. Bernadette's School. The
woman said the suspect argued
with her and then took a picture
of her. He also allegedly took
photos near St. Ephrem's School,
on Fort Hamilton Parkway near
74th Street.
Then on Monday, November 13
at around 12:40 p.m., the suspect
alleged entered St. Bernadette's
without permission and remained
there before fleeing the scene.
Chan, who is a Dyker Heights resident,
was arrested by 68th Precinct
officers on Tuesday, November 14 at
around 3 p.m.

Sixty-five-yearold
man dead
after being
struck by vehicle,
dragged for
blocks in Bay
Ridge

A 65-year-old man was
killed after being struck
by a vehicle and dragged
for several blocks at a Bay
Ridge intersection following an
altercation.
According to police, on Thursday,
November 9 at around 9:15
p.m., following an earlier fender
bender in Sunset Park, an altercation
between the driver of
one and a passenger in the other
took place at the intersection of
65th Street and Third Avenue.
The victim, Gavriel Mardaknayevy,
a Coney Island resident,
got out of his car, which was being
driven by his wife, and confronted
the driver of the other vehicle,
55-year-old David Cruz.
When he went in front of the
vehicle, Cruz allegedly accelerated,
striking Mardaknayevy and
dragging him for two blocks before
stopping at 67th Street and
Third Avenue.
Cops responded to a 911 call
and found Mardaknayevy lying
on the roadway badly injured.
He was rushed to NYU Langone
Hospital- Brooklyn where he was
pronounced dead.
Cruz, a Bay Ridge resident, has
been charged with second degree
murder.
A man is wanted for a case of
forcible touching in the Bensonhurst
area.
According to police, back on Tuesday,
September 19 at around 9:30
a.m., the suspect, described to be in
his late 40s to early 50s, approached
a 20-year-old woman on the B6 bus at
around 70th Street and Bay Parkway,
and rubbed his midsection on her
shoulder.
The man is described as 5’11” to 6’0”
in height.
