MAN THAT STABBED
GIRLFRIEND IN
SUNSET PARK AREA
Police are searching for a man
suspected of stabbing his girlfriend
in Sunset Park.
According to authorities, on Tuesday,
September 26 at around 8:15
p.m. on 65th Street between Sixth
and Seventh Avenues, an 18-year-old
man stabbed his girlfriend, also 18,
in the stomach and slashed her right
forearm. He then fled the scene.
The victim was taken to NYU
Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and is
listed in stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing

POWER TOOLS: An unknown
crook stole around $1,700 in power
drills from a garage on 81st Street
between Narrows Avenue and
Colonial Road sometime between
5 p.m. on Monday, September 18
and 8 a.m. on Tuesday, September
19. According to reports, the tools
had been stored in the garage by
a contractor doing renovations
on the home. He returned to find
them missing. No arrests have been
made.
CLEANING OUT HIS CLOSET: A
crook got away with $3,800 from a
home at Ridge Boulevard and 72nd
Street. Reports say that sometime
between 9 a.m. on Saturday, September
16 and 8 p.m. on Monday,
September 18, the unknown perp
got inside the place and stole the
dough from an unlocked closet in
the victim’s bedroom. No arrests
have been made.
CROOK NABS 69-YEAR-OLD
WOMAN'S WALLET: A 69-year-old
woman was pickpocketed on Third
Avenue between Bay Ridge Avenue
and 68th Street on Thursday, September
21. Reports claim that at
around 9:30 p.m., the woman felt an
unknown perp pat her wallet inside
her pants. Once she left the area, she
realized the crook had taken it. No
arrests have been made.
The 72nd Precinct serves Sunset Park, Greenwood
Heights, Windsor Terrace and South Park Slope.
CROOK USES MACHETE TO STEAL FROM SHOP: An
employee at a tobacco shop at Fourth Avenue and 48th
Street was robbed and threatened with a machete on
Wednesday, September 20. Reports say that at around 3:30
a.m., one male perp asked the 20-year-old male employee if
he could use the bathroom. The man unlocked the door to
the store and let him use the restroom. As he was escorting
the perp out of the store, four other male perps rushed in
and forced him into the bathroom. One of the perps took
out the weapon and warned the victim not to move. They
then took $3,000, a cellphone and five vape devices before
leaving the store and fleeing the scene in a white Lexus
SUV. No arrests have been made.
100K PORSCHE STOLEN: A car worth around $100,000
was stolen from its parking spot at Sixth Avenue and 57th
Street on Wednesday, September 20 by an unknown crook.
According to reports, a man parked his 2013 Porsche at the
location with the keys in the ignition at around 11:45 a.m.
and went to pick something up nearby. When he returned,
the costly vehicle was missing. No arrests have been made.
WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY: A crook broke into an
apartment on 49th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues
and stole a bunch of cash on Monday, September 22. Reports
claim that sometime between 9 p.m. and 2:30 a.m., the
unknown perp broke in through the bathroom window,
stole around $700 and fled the apartment through the same
broken window. No arrests have been made.
CROOKS THWARTED BY COPS: Two men were arrested
for attacking and robbing a 26-year-old man on 17th
Street between Eighth Avenue and Prospect Park West
on Saturday, September 23. According to reports, the two
alleged perps, a 56-year-old man and a 57-year-old man,
approached the victim, punched him in the face, went
through his pockets and stole his cell phone. Both men
were later charged with robbery.
The 62nd Precinct serves Bensonhurst, Bath Beach
and Gravesend.
ORDER TO GO: A restaurant near 68th Street and New
Utrecht Avenue was broken into and robbed of cash on Monday,
September 18. According to reports, at around 3:36 a.m.,
an unknown man went under the gate and opened the door
that had been left unlocked and nabbed around $150 from
the cash register before fleeing. No arrests have been made.
MAN BEATEN BY SIX PERPS: A 22-year-old man was
attacked by six unknown men at New Utrecht Avenue and
Bay Ridge Parkway on Thursday, September 21. Reports
say that at around 5 a.m., one of the perps approached the
victim and struck him with a baseball bat several times,
resulting in serious injuries. No arrests have been made.
88-YEAR-OLD ATTACKED: A 21-year-old was arrested on
assault charges on Wednesday, September 20 for assaulting
an 88-year-old male relative inside an apartment near East
Fifth Street and Caton Avenue. According to reports, the
alleged perp pushed the man and punched him in the face.
MAN BUSTED FOR KNIFEPOINT ROBBERY: A 34-yearold
man was arrested for attacking and robbing a 31-yearold
man near Kings Highway and McDonald Avenue on
Sunday, September 24. Reports say that at around 5:10 a.m.,
the alleged perp, an acquaintance of the victim, pulled out
a knife and told him to give him all of his money. Following
a struggle, the perp fled the area without any cash but was
subsequently picked up by police.
ITUNES SCAM STRIKES AGAIN: A 81-year-old man who
lives on Bay 19th Street between 86th Street and Benson
Avenue was scammed out of around $1,700 on Wednesday,
September 20. Reports say at around 5 p.m., the victim received
a call from the male perp saying his cellphone had
been hacked and he needed 17 $100 iTunes gift cards to fix
it. The victim proceeded to give him card numbers over
the phone and was defrauded of the loot. No arrests have
been made.
