Rocco’s mom, Tina, does much of the cooking too—yes, this place is the Real Deal! Trattoria L’Incontro serves lunch and dinner. Hours are Tuesdays-Thursdays, 12pm-10pm, Fridays and Saturdays 12pm-11pm and on Sundays from 1pm-11pm. Closed Mondays. If you’re planning an event, their private room can accommodate up to 35 people and their side room accommodates up to 65 people. Valet parking is available. Trattoria L’Incontro is located at 21-76 31st Street (Ditmars Blvd.) Call 718-721-3532 or visit www.trattorialincontro. com for more information. Marsha must have planned this carefully— it’s almost identical to her first picture, but taken on a clear early morning. Impressive! Thank you for sharing your beautiful photographs! A reminder about the contest rules: The photographer must be a resident of Cryder Point, and all photos must of the property or of a view from the property. They also must be current, that is, taken no more than a couple of months before you submit them--we don’t want to see pictures with the old balconies, for example. Any description of where you were on the property, the day of week or time of day…any details that you can provide which bring your neighbors into the moment of the photo…are eagerly welcomed. Submit your pictures to [email protected] and yours might be selected to be featured in the paper. Please be sure to put “Cryder Point Photo” in the subject line of your email and include the full name of the photographer and an approximate date of the picture. So come on everybody! Send your photos in and enjoy! Marsha (almost) makes us look forward to winter with this picture of the first snowfall of the season. Photo by Marsha Gellert Photo of the Month winner! Elsa captured the light on her balcony beautifully in this springtime photo. Thanks, Elsa, we need a reminder of spring!
