4 C RY D E R P O I N T MAY Progress is well underway in the 21/41 Courtyard. As of this writing, the area has been seeded for grass and new lights along the restored pathway have been installed. The same lights have also been installed along the 01/21 Courtyard pathway, and new benches have replaced old ones throughout the property and along the promenade. Some of the older benches are being reused for seating in the grassy area behind the playground. We will also be installing an American flag at the edge of the promenade between the two sections of benches. All Cryder Point U.S. military veterans and Cryder Point residents are invited to participate in the inaugural raising of the flag. This should be a really nice community event, so please keep an eye out for the date and time which will be announced shortly. Also as previously mentioned, we will be holding a special shareholders’ meeting to give everyone a review of the capital expenditures that have gone into the improvements. I am targeting to have the meeting this month; date to be announced. As you know, Pool Season will begin on Saturday, May 27. The pool is undergoing a new resurfacing (which was badly needed!), and we have ordered a few new umbrellas as well. You may join (or rejoin) the pool at your convenience or during the special hours indicated in the pool package; contact Stacey in the Management Office if you have any questions. I hope you enjoy the recaps of the Spring Festival and Beach Clean Up, both of which happened last month. Both of these events are great examples of Cryder Point community involvement, and all of us are looking forward to more such activities.
