JUNE 16 C RY D E R P O I N T Cryder Point Photo of the Month 16 CRYDER POINT COURIER | JUNE 2017 | WWW.QUEENSCOURIER.COM Congratulations to Joseph Hollander, this month’s Photo of the Month winner! This month’s runners-up are Marsha Gellert, Jerry Lebowitz, Barbara Princenthal and David Tung. Thank you all for sharing your beautiful photographs. Well, this is clearly the Month of the Bridge! These fabulous photos of the Throgs Neck Bridge show how our resident photographers capture it from so many different and beautiful perspectives. I can say in all honesty that the photo editor had a hard time this month choosing just one “winner,” and in fact our contributors submitted so many fantastic pictures that spoiler alert some are being saved for future issues. So come back next month to see more, and in the meantime, keep those pix rolling in! A reminder about the contest rules: The photographer must be a resident of Cryder Point, and all photos must of the property or of a view from the property. They also must be current, that is, taken no more than a couple of months before you submit them--we don’t want to see pictures with the old balconies, for example. Any description of where you were on the property, the day of week or time of day…any details that you can provide which bring your neighbors into the moment of the photo…are eagerly welcomed. Submit your pictures to [email protected] and yours might be selected to be featured in the paper. Please be sure to put “Cryder Point Photo” in the subject line of your email and include the full name of the photographer and an approximate date of the picture.
