4 C R Y D E R P O I N T NOVEMBER Message from the Board President SAVE THE DATE: Save the date: There will be shareholders’ meeting on Thursday, December 8 in the Community Room. Details to follow. Please read the update about the seawall project in this issue. At this point the focus is on beach access and parking. As you will read, we have hit a snag in our progress due to a drain pipe in the 41 parking lot; it’s nothing that can’t be fi xed and, fortunately, will not cost Cryder Point any additional money to repair. For those who may have not taken a stroll along the promenade yet, please take a walk down and have a look. In case you’re wondering why there are no benches there yet, we need to wait until the green space is returned before we can set them in their permanent locations, and it would be unsafe to have them placed and not secured. I hope you enjoy reading about the Halloween Parade and Party that was hosted by the Quality of Life Committee. Thanks to Dorene Finnegan who took all of the terrifi c photos of the event as well as this month’s lovely cover photo of the pumpkins and hay that were donated by our gardener. Please take a moment at your mail desk to read management’s memo regarding heating. It offers helpful tips for things you can do to help keep your apartment comfortable this season. If you have any questions about what to do, please contact the offi ce. Finally, I’d like to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving and a happy, healthy holiday season ahead. Till next time.
