United States Navy veteran Perry
Barber witnessed the accident and
came to the victim's aid.
“I was entering the Belt Parkway
coming east off of exit four and I saw
a motorcycle doing about 80 miles an
hour weaving in and out of traffic and
next thing I knew, I saw a puff of smoke
and the traffic came to a standstill,” he
said. “I was one of the first to aid him.”
Barber described the grisly scene.
“He was messed up,” he said. “One of
his limbs was torn off. His legs were all
twisted and he was breathing, laying
on his side.”
