19-YEAR-OLD WITH
METAL BAT IN CONEY
ISLAND
Police are looking for a male perp
who assaulted a 19-year-old man
with a metal baseball bat in Coney
Island.
According to reports, on Saturday,
November 11 at around 4 a.m., following
a dispute, the attacker, described
to be in his 30s, struck the victim in
the head with the bat in front of 2869
West 15th Street before fleeing in an
unknown direction.
The victim was taken to NYU
Langone Hospital – Brooklyn where
he was listed in serious but stable
condition.
The suspect is described as Hispanic;
he was last seen wearing a
dark colored jacket, a white shirt and
dark colored pants.

62ND PRECINCT
The 62nd Precinct serves Bensonhurst, Bath Beach and Gravesend.
DELIVERY MAN HELD AT GUNPOINT: A 24-year-old man who was delivering
pizza was robbed at gunpoint at 18th Avenue and 74th Street on Friday, November
24. According to reports, a man about 25 years old approached the victim and asked
if he was a delivery guy. He then took out a black firearm and stole his victim's phone
and $250. The perp then fled westbound. No arrests have been made.
THREE AGAINST ONE: Three men around 18 years old attacked and robbed a
35-year-old man of his cellphone at Bay Parkway and Stillwell Avenue on Saturday,
November 25. Reports claim that the victim was approached by the three crooks at
around 6:10 p.m. when they suddenly punched and kicked him. They then stole the
phone and fled the scene in an unknown direction. No arrests have been made.
BROTHERS ATTACKED: Eighteen and 19-year-old brothers were attacked by a male
friend and a woman over money inside their apartment near 14th Avenue and 62nd
Street on Saturday, November 25. Reports claim that the perp knocked on the victims'
door. When one of the men opened it, the attacker pushed the door open and started
hitting one victim with a bat. When one of the victims tried to break up the altercation,
the female perp hit him with an unknown object. The two perps then fled the scene
eastbound on 62nd Street towards 15th Avenue in a blue Ford. The victim says he
owed the perp $200. No arrests have been made.
ROTTEN CROOK: A 33-year-old woman had her credit cards stolen on Saturday,
November 25 at a department store near Bay Parkway and Shore Parkway by a unknown,
who later made unauthorized charges. According to reports, at around 12:30
p.m., the woman placed her handbag containing the wallet in the bottom section of
her child’s stroller. The crook grabbed the wallet and fled the scene. The perp later
made $313 worth of charges at a drugstore. No arrests have been made.
VIOLENT FAMILY ROBBERY: A 19-year-old woman was attacked and robbed by
her brother in a home near 21st Avenue and 79th Street on Thursday, November
23. Reports claim that the victim’s brother entered her room and demanded money.
When she refused, the alleged perp punched her in the face, stole around $100 and
fled the scene in an unknown direction. No arrests have been made.
68TH PRECINCT
The 68th Precinct serves Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and Fort
Hamilton.
UNATTENDED PROPERTY: A 35-year-old woman had her wallet
nabbed after briefly leaving it unattended on 83rd Street between
Third and Fourth Avenues on Friday, November 17. According to
reports, the woman — who worked in the area — said she left the
property and an unknown perp grabbed it. While canceling the
credit cards that were inside the stolen wallet, the woman found out
that the crook tried to make several charges with them. No arrests
have been made.
BAG OF GOODS: A 67-year-old woman had her bag stolen after briefly
placing it on the floor while shopping in a store on Third Avenue
between Bay Ridge Avenue and 68th Street on Friday, November 24
at around 12:30 p.m. No arrests have been made.
CON-ED SCAMMER: A business owner on 13th Avenue between 80th
and 81st Street was scammed out of nearly $2,000 on Wednesday, November
22. According to reports, the victim received a threatening
phone call at around 12:30 p.m. from an unknown perp pretending
to work at Con Edison. The crook demanded the victim pay around
$1,925 to the perp via Moneypack Cards. No arrests have been made.
SNEAKY CUSTOMER: A store at Fifth Avenue and 85th Street
was robbed of over $1,000 on Tuesday, November 21. According to
reports, at around 2:20 p.m., a female employee was distracted by
the unknown perp, who without her seeing, reached over the cash
register, grabbed around $1,043 and fled the scene. No arrests have
been made.
WHEEL HEIST: Employees at a car dealership on 65th Street between
Sixth and Seventh Avenues discovered on Monday, November 20 that
a car had been stolen 10 days earlier. Employees discovered the loss
while taking inventory. No arrests have been made.
