Throughout the summer, LeFrak City residents enjoyed a series of fitness activities to help them stay active, healthy--and have fun doing it. Each month featured both a yoga and a Zumba class, held outside on the London Building tennis court when the weather permitted. Participants of all ages, including some of LeFrak City’s youngest residents, stretched, clapped and danced their way to good health. Part of the health and wellness initiative sponsored by LeFrak City Maintenance Services, these classes have become a popular way to spend Wednesday evenings. Due to popular demand, yoga and Zumba will continue to be offered throughout the year. Classes will be held on a rotating basis; The classes are free to residents, and all members of the LeFrak City community are encouraged to attend, so mark your calendars! Upcoming dates are: November 16 – Yoga December 14 – Zumba January 18 – Yoga February 15 - Zumba Even a little litter is too much! You may have seen the new trash bins that have been placed in many of the lobbies. We are rolling out these new receptacles throughout LeFrak City and expect that all lobbies will be furnished with them in the next few months.
