GREENBERG, CPA As I write this article, we are already into the early part of spring as per the calendar, but it’s rainy and cold and not feeling much like it outside. I hope that we will be enjoying sunnier and milder weather by the time this paper goes to print. CONCESSION: I am pleased to announce that our concession has opened under new management (Sunflower Bistro) and that all of the delays caused by the Board of Health are behind us. I am hoping that you will really enjoy the newly refurbished concession area and must compliment our Maintenance employees on doing such a good job with the renovation work. FINANCIAL: The 8 months ending February 28, 2017 (budgeted versus actual) showed revenues of $10,958,696 (66.24%) of the budgeted amount of $16,544,208 and total expenses of $10,201,649 (64.59%) of the budgeted amount of $15,794,662 as reported by our accountants. HALLWAYS & LOBBIES: Just to give you an update on the refurbishing of the hallways and lobbies, the Board of Directors has retained the services of EBK Group LLC Architectural Design. EBK will draw up plans and specifications for the Board to carefully review and select, and we will display sample renderings in our clubhouse once designs have been chosen and perfected. I will continue to update you as more information becomes available. POOL & CLUB MANAGEMENT: As in previous years, the Board has approved a new contract with Elite Pool Management to manage our pools and amenities for the upcoming year.
