Orestes’ LIC BY ORESTES GONZALEZ PORTRAITS of 2016 As we end the year, I often look back at all the situations that I’ve been lucky enough to record. This year was rich in photographic opportunities, as I was able to travel to Cuba and Sicily, as well as participate in various photographically rich events here in NYC. Of all the subjects that interest me, I think portraits of people are my favorite. To capture someone’s personality and the essence of where they are from is a sometimes difficult but rewarding job.
