A Flushing apartment complex
has changed hands for a
heft y sum.
The six-story, residential
building at 143-48 41st Ave.
sold for $14.175 million on Dec.
22. Th e 53-unit, 56,000-squarefoot
elevator building is located
on the south side of 41st
Avenue, between Parsons
Boulevard and Bowne Street.
According to the Department
of Buildings online records, a
partial vacate order exists on
the property dating back to
Nov. 3 due to an illegal conversion
at the cellar level. A permit
was fi led to construct a laundry
room at the cellar level last
January, but was later revoked
by the city agency in December.
Situated in the downtown
area of the neighborhood, the
building is blocks away from
both the Murray Hill and
Main Street Long Island Rail
Road (LIRR) stops, as well as
the 7 train, off ering fast access
to Manhattan and parts of
Queens.
It’s also close to myriad destinations
including the Queens
Botanical Garden, Queens
Museum, Flushing Town
Hall and the New York Mets’
home, Citi Field. Th e area is
also known for its international
food off erings and shopping
destinations, including the
SkyView Center Mall.
Victor Sozio, Shimon Shkury,
Michael A. Tortorici and Jesse
Greshin from Ariel Property
Advisors closed the deal.
