Th e evening begins with a VIP Hour for honorees, during which they get to network with each other. Th ere is also a business expo, followed by dinner and an awards ceremony. Presented by the Holy Cross Father’s Club, the April 22 Rock & Roll Spectacular is a fundraiser for Holy Cross High School, located at 26-20 Francis Lewis Blvd., and will be hosted by Dennis “Dion” Nardone of WVOX-AM. Th e night will feature performances from musical acts including Ron Dante, original lead singer of Th e Archies, known for songs “Sugar Sugar” and “Jingle Tangle,” and the Charlie Th omas Drift ers, famous for hits “Under the Boardwalk” and “Magic Moments.” Also slated to perform are 1910 Fruitgum Company, Emily Stucchio & Th e Classics and Barbara Harris & Th e Toys.
