The man, who is described as a Hispanic male in his 50s wearing glasses, approached the 38-year-old victim on March 22  on the E train. The train was heading to the Queens Plaza station in  Long Island City  at about 4:40 p.m. when the suspect placed his hand on the woman’s groin above her pants. He then fled the train. Police released a sketch of the wanted man on Monday. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers  website  or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential. 109th Precinct College Point VIDEO: Police seek gunman who held up a grocery store in College Point Police released security camera footage of a man as he robbed a grocery store in College Point on April 24. The robbery occurred at 10:30 p.m. on April 24 inside the VDK Grocery Store at 14-42 College Point Blvd. According to authorities, the suspect, described as a black male standing 5 foot 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a dark complexion and wearing a hooded sweatshirt, walked into the shop, pointed a silver handgun at an employee and demanded cash. Police said the suspect displayed a silver handgun and demanded cash from an employee behind the counter. He then grabbed an unknown amount of cash from the register and fled on foot in an unknown direction. Officers from the 109th Precinct responded to the robbery. No injuries were reported. Two witnesses, a 32-year-old female and a 60-year-old male told police that they saw a dispute break out between two groups of men at about 10:39 p.m. According to police, approximately four Asian males began a verbal argument with an unknown number of Hispanic males at the intersection of 37th Avenue and 74th Street. One of the Asian men pulled out a firearm and shot into the crowd of men he was arguing with and all parties  ran in unknown directions, police said. No injuries were reported. The individual is described as an Asian male with a  long pony tail, last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black jeans, and a orange and blue jogging jacket.
