Experts see big things for Queens
as borough continues to expand

More than a dozen real estate and
development experts took the stage at
the QNS Real Estate Conference 2017 on
Nov. 2 at Gantry Loft in Long Island City
to talk about the current state of the real
estate market in Queens, and what the
future holds.
Before the three diff erent panels came
on to speak to their particular sets of
expertise, Queens Borough President
Melinda Katz off ered some welcoming
remarks. Jeff rey E. Levine, Chairman
of Douglas Development LLC, Levine
Builders and Clinton Management LLC,
was the event’s keynote speaker.
In his speech, Levine harkened back to
his extensive experience in the real estate
business started in Douglaston, Queens,
