DR. KENNETH HUPART was appointed the Chairperson for the Department of Medicine in February 2015. Dr. Hupart was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and his Medical degree from the School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. Dr. Hupart completed his Residency, Chief Residency and Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Montefiore Medical Center. He is board certified in both Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and an Affiliate Full Clinical Professor at the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions at St. John’s University. Dr. Hupart is a nationally recognized Endocrinologist and is currently the Secretary-Treasurer of the world’s largest Endocrine Society. Dr. Hupart has written numerous publications and serves as a peer reviewer for several medical journals. He has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” in New York by Castle and Connolly for 17 consecutive years and a “Best Doctor” by Best Doctors Inc. and New York Magazine.
