camera installed outside Mr Clean It, a dry cleaning business in Crown Heights,
as part of Operation Safe Shopper, a partnership he established between local
civic organizations and the NYPD to deploy security technology in commercial
corridors across Brooklyn.

Borough President Adams joined thousands of people marching in the annual
St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Bay Ridge, a celebration of Irish heritage and the
many historic contributions of Irish-Americans to Brooklyn.

Borough President Adams laid flowers down at the ghost bike memorial for
34-year-old Lauren Davis, who was killed in a bike crash at the intersection
of Classon and Lexington avenues in Clinton Hill; the gathering took place
following a memorial ride he led with community residents and cycling
advocates in the wake of the deaths of Davis and 33-year-old James Gregg,
who was fatally struck by an 18-wheel tractor trailer at the intersection of
Sixth Avenue and Sterling Place in Park Slope.

As part of the inaugural Central Brooklyn Arts & Culture Walk (CBACW) along
Eastern Parkway, Borough President Adams held a ceremony at the Brooklyn
Botanic Garden in Crown Heights to induct comedian Joy Behar, a native of
Williamsburg renowned for her success hosting “The View,” into the garden’s
Celebrity Path.

Borough President Adams celebrated students of Brooklyn Technical High
School in Fort Greene who were among the award recipients at his second
annual “A Night Honoring Brooklyn Champions,” an event that celebrated the
success of the borough’s recent academic, artistic, and athletic championship
teams.
