Every year, the Tribeca Film Festival brings together creative visionaries from around the world to showcase the power
of storytelling through diverse perspectives. Founded in 2001 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff, the
festival is intended not only to provide a platform for independent, emerging or established filmmakers, but to foster
the economic and cultural revival of Lower Manhattan after the the attacks on the World Trade Center. The festival has
become known for discovering award-winning talent, and the 2019 lineup is no exception. Here are some of the most
anticipated films for the 18th Tribeca Film Festival, which runs from April 24 to May 5.
