Shaky Knees
Separating itself from the pack by sticking to mostly one
genre, The Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, Georgia is a rock
festival featuring mostly Indie Rock greats and guitar-heavy
bands. From May 3 to 5, festival goers can see headliners
Tame Impala, Beck, Cage the Elephant, Incubus and dozens
of other popular and less-known rockers. Reading through
the complete list of performers is sure to reveal some great
band names too, including Soccer Mommy, The Nude Party,
Low Cut Connie, and I Don’t Know How But They Found Me.
Hangout The Hangout Fest is a perfect way to head into
summer with performances taking place right on
the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. The weather
is sure to be just as hot as the lineup from May 16
to 19, with headline acts including Travis Scott,
The Lumineers, Khalid, Vampire Weekend, Cardi B,
Kygo, The 1975, Diplo, Hozier, Griz, Walk The Moon
and more. The Hangout is known for bringing
together today’s mainstream hit makers from
around the world for this party on the beach, so be
sure to check out the complete list of performers
and bring your sunscreen.
Boston Calling
As the largest festival in Boston, Massachusetts, the Memorial Day weekend event
has become known for showcasing some rising stars in the industry rather than featuring
most of the same acts as the other big festivals. While Boston Calling does have Twenty
One Pilots, Tame Impala, and Travis Scott as its headliners, it also features Anderson
.Paak and the Free Nationals, Logic, Greta Van Vleet and Odesza as some of its main
performers. The May 24 to 26 event will also have some unique performances from
comedians Michael Che and Jenny Slate, the Boston Ballet and more.
