Police said these two men allegedly groped young women along the 7 line in Jackson
Heights and Woodside in two separate incidents this month.
Cops seek two subway creeps trolling 7 line
JACKSON HEIGHTS — Detectives
were looking for two men who molested
women in separate incidents along the
7 line in Jackson Heights and Woodside
this month.
Police said the first incident occurred
Dec. 8 at 8:45 p.m. at the Jackson Heights-
Roosevelt Avenue station on the 7 line.
According to authorities, the 20-yearold
female victim was on her way out of
the station when the suspect approached
her from behind and grabbed her buttocks.
He was last seen heading for the
Manhattan-bound 7 train platform.
The NYPD later obtained security
camera footage of the perpetrator, who’s
described as a black or Hispanic male
between 25 and 35 years of age, standing
5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about
155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a

gray jacket, a gray hat and blue jeans.
Cops said the second incident took
place Dec. 12 at 8:37 a.m. on board a Manhattan
bound 7 train approaching the
Woodside-61 Street station.
According to law enforcement sources,
the suspect groped a 15-year-old girl
in her private area. The girl departed
the 7 train at the Vernon Boulevard-
Jackson Avenue stop in Long Island City,
while the suspect remained on board the
train.
Police later obtained a cellphone
photo of the suspect, who’s described as a
Hispanic man in his 30s, standing 5 feet,
7 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket
and blue jeans.

Man sought in College Point Modell’s robbery
COLLEGE POINT — Cops were
searching for a man who recently
stole merchandise from a Modell’s
Sporting Goods store in College Point
and then got physical with an employee
who tried to stop him, according to
authorities.
Law enforcement sources said the
suspect, who is described by investigators
as a black man in his 20s, entered
the store at 139-17 20th Ave. around 9:15
a.m. on Dec. 7.
The perpetrator began removing
more than $700 of merchandise before
a Modell’s employee confronted him,
police said. That’s when the suspect
shoved the staff member to the floor
and escaped, according to the NYPD.
Officers from the 109th Precinct
responded to the scene. The employee
suffered a laceration but refused medical
attention at the scene.
On Dec. 16, the 109th Precinct
tweeted out a blurry image of the suspect,
who stands at about 6 feet, 1 inch
tall and weighs 170 pounds. He was last
seen wearing black jeans and a black
jacket.
