Developers at a luxury
rental building Downtown
announced two
popular retail businesses
will take over ground-fl oor
space — bringing even more
commerce to the bustling district.
The luxury residential
building 33 Bond — which
already offers its residents
a landscaped roof terrace
with views of Manhattan a
coworking space HomeWork,
onsite pet grooming in partnership
with Throw Me a
Bone, and bike storage — can
now count a barber shop and
burger joint among its list of
amenities for residents and
neighbors alike.
Neighborhood Cut and
Shave, a popular barber and
grooming shop with a Prospect
Heights location on Vanderbilt
Avenue, and Burger
Village, a Long Island-based
organic burger restaurant
with a location on Seventh
Avenue in Park Slope, have
both signed leases for retail
space in the Bond Street
building.
“We are thrilled to welcome
Neighborhood Cut and
Shave and Burger Village
to 33 Bond, adding to the vibrant
retail we have curated
in partnership with Winick
at the building. Along with
Chelsea Piers’ fi rst Brooklyn
location and local favorites
Devocion, and Depanneur,
we are bringing great new
amenities to Downtown for
our residents and neighbors,”

Leaders at Winick Realty
Group, which represented
TF Cornerstone in the transactions,
said the two businesses
were a natural fi t for
the building.
“From day one, our leasing
strategy has been to identify
local operators with an
impressive buildout to add

value to the building and to
the neighborhood,” said Winick
Realty Group President
Steven E. Baker, who exclusively
markets the retail at
the project along with director
Daniyel Cohen. “We are
proud to welcome both of
these tenants to the building
as they bring much-needed
amenities to the market.”
Both tenants are expected
to open in this year inside
storefronts at 300 Livingston
St.
Since they began leasing
the retail space at 33 Bond,
Baker and Cohen have successfully
brought in tenants
to complement and enhance
the growing neighborhood,
where more than 5,000 new
residential units, in addition
to a variety of offi ce and hotel
projects, are currently in development.
