A jerk snatched a woman’s bag
at Flatlands Avenue on Feb. 2.
The woman was waiting at the
bus stop near E. 57th Street at 6:50
am when the rake grabbed her bag
and fl ed on nearby Avenue I towards
Kings Highway, police reported.
Gold digger
A thief stole expensive jewelry
from an Avenue U department
store on Jan. 26.
The baddie was in the store
near E. 55th Street at 7:30 pm when
he reached behind the store’s
glass jewelry case, took several
gold bracelets worth an estimated
$32,600, and made a run for it, offi
cials said.
Clean robbery
A bandit looted a man’s car
parked on Schenectady Avenue on
Jan. 24.
The victim told cops that the
lout stole several electronics and
a brown bag from the car parked
outside his residence between Avenues
N and O sometime between
8 and 11 pm.
The car had no signs of forced
entry, cops said.
Wallet thief
Someone stole a woman’s wallet
from a coffee shop inside an Avenue
U shopping center on Feb. 3.
The woman was getting a cup
of joe at the mall near Flatbush
Avenue at noon before heading to
work, cops said.
When she got to work she realized
that she’d left her wallet in
the coffee shop, so she went back
around 6 pm to look for it but
couldn’t fi nd it, according to the
authorities.
She checked her bank accounts
and saw that someone had made
transactions worth hundreds of
dollars at three different clothing
stores, so she then canceled her
card, cops said.

Brutal
A lout robbed an elderly lady
on Brighton Third Street on Jan.
28 — and caused her to break her
shoulder in the attack.
The victim told cops she was
between Neptune and Ocean View
avenues at 1:30 am when the brute
approached her, pushed her to the
ground, and snatched her handbag.
The woman sustained a broken
right shoulder and a laceration on
her right hand from falling to the
ground, cops said.
The villain then fl ed towards
Ocean View Avenue, according to
the authorities.
Double trouble
Two bandits threatened a Neptune
Avenue bodega worker at gunpoint
and stole cash on Jan. 29.
The villains walked in the store
near Ocean Parkway at 4:40 am
wearing bandanas and hopped the
counter, according to police. The
two told the employee not to move
while one of the louts showed his
silver gun, cops said.
The nogoodniks then bagged
$500 from the register and took the
employee’s phone before fl eeing
towards Coney Island Avenue, according
to the authorities.
Police said they were able to recover
the phone at Coney Island
Avenue near Ocean View Avenue,
but could not fi nd the baddies.
Sneak attack
A worm stole a woman’s handbag
at Corbin Place on Jan. 31.
The victim was near Oriental
Boulevard at 7:10 pm when the
weasel came up from behind and
grabbed her bag, pulling her to the
ground, and causing pain to her
right leg, cops said.
Bruiser
Police arrested a man for allegedly
assaulting another man on
Brighton Sixth Street on Feb. 1.
Authorities said the suspect
grabbed the victim by his arm
and demanded money and beer at
Brighton Beach Avenue at 12:15
am. He then started punching the
victim in the face several times —
giving him a bloody nose — and
snatched his pack of cigarettes, according
to cops.
Unhelpful hands
Two laborers stole tools
from a man on Coney Island

Avenue on Jan. 7.
The victim hired the two men
to do some demolition work in his
basement near Brighton 10th Path
using their own tools and gave
them access to it for a few days at
11 am.
The victim told the men, one of
whom is known as “Big Daddy,”
that the tools in the basement
couldn’t be removed, but he noticed
a few days later that hammers
were missing, according to
cops.
A witness told the victim that
they saw Big Daddy and his partner
in crime carrying the tools
into a white truck, police said.
Big money
A fi lcher extorted tens of thousands
of dollars from a man at W.
Fifth Street on Jan. 30.
The hoaxer called the victim
near W. Brighton Avenue at 2:15
pm and told him he would be arrested
if he didn’t send money to
a Manhattan-based company, according
to police.
The victim then wired the company
$50,000, cops said.

Delinquent duo
Two brigands robbed a woman
on Avenue Z on Feb. 3.
The woman was washing the
window of her car near Coyle
Street at 9:45 am when another
woman approached her asking for
directions.
A guy then pushed the victim to
the ground and ran away with her
pocketbook, said cops. The woman
cut her right knee when she was
knocked to the ground, police reported.
Bike bandit
A thief stole a woman’s bike on
W. Sixth Street on Feb. 3.
The victim told cops that the
lout got into the rear garage of her
home near Avenue U around 5:25
pm through the side door at the
side driveway while she was at a
corner deli.
The victim said she wasn’t sure
if the garage door was locked, according
to the authorities.

SUNSET PARK–WINDSOR TERRACE
Good deed punished
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
attacking paramedics in a
drunken rage aboard an ambulance
on Eighth Avenue on Feb. 2.
The victim told police he was
treating the suspect for intoxication
in the vehicle between 44th
and 45th streets at 6:37 pm, when
the guy kicked him in the knee
and spit on him.
The suspect was taken to Lutheran
Medical Center, and cops
arrested him that night on a felony
assault charge, according to
police.
Bad apples
Police are hunting for the two
crooks that beat and robbed a man
on 17th Street on Feb. 4, taking his
iPhone 7.
The victim told police the crooks
jumped him near Fourth Avenue
at 3:05 pm, with one of them hurling
him to the pavement, while the
other cold-cocked him, before they
took his pricey smartphone and
fl ed.
Keyed
Cops have given up the hunt for
the jerk wanted for keying a guy’s
car on 45th Street on Jan. 30.
The victim told police he parked
his brand-spanking-new 2019 Toyota
between Second and Third avenues
at 11:30 pm, and returned
about 25 minutes later to fi nd a
nasty gash running down the passenger
side of his car.
Crime of opportunity
Police are searching for the
thief who they said looted a woman’s
car she left unlocked on 59th
Street on Feb. 3.
The victim told police she
parked her van between Fourth
and Fifth avenues at 4:38 pm, and
returned a little more than one
hour later to fi nd her bag, which
contained more than $800 and
credits cards, had been nabbed.
A transit worker later recovered
the woman’s purse at the 53rd
Street R train station, sans cash
and cards, cops said.
