and work identification, according
to cops.
Cell robbery
Police arrested a teen for
allegedly violently robbing a
man at MetroTech Center on
May 16.
The victim told cops he
was between Jay and Duffield
streets at 2:10 p.m. when
the 16-year-old suspect tried
to take his cellphone, and
punched him several times,
before a police officer intervened.
You in a gang?
Goons assaulted and
robbed a teen on Bond Street
Police say the scoundrels
managed to rip a bag from his
arm that had more than $300
worth of computer accessories,
and fled the scene.
Fare evader
Police cuffed a man for allegedly
assaulting an officer
at a York Street subway station
on May 15.
The suspect was allegedly
walking through the
open emergency exit at the
station near Jay Street around
5:20 p.m. without paying a
fare, after which transit police
stopped him, according
to cops.
The man then gave a fake
name and birth date to the cop,
upon which he tried to arrest
him, but the guy allegedly resisted,
injuring the officer’s
nose in the process, according
to the authorities.

Fort Greene–Clinton Hill
Troublesome
Three bandits robbed a delivery
man on Washington Avenue
on May 13.
The malcontents walked
up to the victim while he was
making a delivery between
Gates and Greene avenues at
9:30 p.m. and shoved him to
the ground, a cutting his finger,
while the other two fled
with his electric bike, according
to the police report.
Car robbers
Two rogues held a man
up at S. Oxford Street on
May 17.
The victim told police he
was in his car near Hanson
Place at 3:15 a.m. when the two
ne’er-do-wells approached
him and demanded he hand
over his money.
He handed over $53, but the
brute put his arm around his
head, and the victim said he
felt what could have been a
gun pressed to his head. The
other nogoodnik fleeced his
pockets and bagged his cellwhen
she returned the next
day at 9:40 a.m., she saw that
her stuff was missing, without
any damage to the locker
or the lock.
Bad date
A scammer robbed a man
after a meet up on Vanderbilt
Avenue on the night of
May 16.
The victim told cops he met
the scofflaw at a DeKalb Avenue
bar and took her back to
his home near Lafayette Avenue
at 10:30 p.m.
He at one point gave her
the password to his phone and
fell asleep, police said.
When he woke up, he noticed
the scoundrel made three
transactions on Venmo worth
almost $2,000, he told cops.

Bad tip
Some lowlife ripped off
servers at a Bergen Street
coffee shop on May 15, taking
$20 out of the tip jar.
The owner told police the
reprobate stuffed his greasy
palms into her employees’ tip
jar at the store between Fifth
and Flatbush avenues at 2:45
p.m., before fleeing with his
ill-gotten cash on foot.
Licensed to steal
A thief nabbed both license
plates off a man’s 2000 Lexus
LX470 he parked on Sixth Avenue
on May 15.
The victim told police he
parked his 19-year-old fourdoor
near Park Place at 10:30
a.m., returning shortly to find
both plates stolen.
Blending in
Police cuffed a 48-year-old
man accused of looting merchandise
at a Flatbush Avenue
department store on May 10,
taking luggage and a Ninja
blender.
An employee told police he
spotted the suspect attempting
to flee past the register at
the store near Atlantic Avenue
with the stolen goods at 4:02
p.m., and New York’s Finest
were called in to arrest the
man on a misdemeanor larceny
charge.
Final destination
Two louts sucker-punched
a man on Sixth Avenue on
May 4.
The victim told police he
was exiting a cab near Union
on May 16.
The brutes walked up
to the 16-year-old victim
near Fulton Street at 5 p.m.
and asked him if he was a
member of a gang, cops reported.
When he replied that
he wasn’t, they started to assault
him, and took $200 from
his wallet,said cops.

A mob of teenagers jumped
a man and robbed him on Fulton
Street on May 17.
The victim was near Lawrence
Street at 9 p.m. when
a group of some 10 to 15 delinquents
aged around 15- to
18-years-old ambushed him,
throwing garbage at him and
punching him several times,
said police.

station on May 17.
The 16-year-old victim was
swiping his MetroCard at the

did not display a knife, according
to police.
The youngster handed over
$3 from his wallet and the rapscallion
demanded his phone,
which he took and then fled on
foot out of the station, according
to the authorities.
Boozy burglar
A burglar filched a Fulton
Street restaurant on May
13.
The lout used a bolt cutter
to snap the deadbolt lock
on the side door of the eatery
near St. James Place at
around 3:40 a.m., and then
left without going inside, according
to police.
The lawbreaker then came
back about an hour later, lifting
the gates to get into the
building, where he bagged
$300, the lock, and a $20 bottle
of booze, according to the
police report.
What a tool!
A man stole thousands of
dollars worth of tools from
another man’s work truck at
Hanson Place on May 14.
The man was returned to
his truck parked near S. Elliott
Place at 8:30 p.m. when
he saw the lock on it was broken,
and caught a glimpse of
the louse making a run for it,
according to police.
He then opened his truck
and saw that several drills and
their batteries were stolen, the
authorities said.

A thief robbed a doctor’s
locker at a DeKalb Avenue
hospital sometime overnight
on May 13.
The victim told cops she
left her white coat, stethoscope,
and other medical
devices in her locker at the
medical center near Ashland
Place at around 4:50 p.m., and
Street at 12:30 a.m. when the
goons waltzed up and socked
him in the face.
Bike bandit
A thief stole two pricey
bikes that were locked up on
Ninth Street on May 11.
The victim told police he
chained his two Trek bikes up
between Fifth and Sixth avenues
at 1 p.m., and returned
about an hour later to find
his rides stolen.

Terrace
Cell of a guy
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
beating and robbing a
woman on 21st Street on May
14, taking her phone.
The victim told police she
was arguing with the suspect
between Fourth and Fifth avenues
at 10:55 p.m. when the
man grabbed the phone from
her hand and started walking
away.
When the woman attempted
to reclaim her cell, the
guy slapped her in the face and
then shoved her to the ground,
according to police.
A man witnessed the theft
from his nearby home and
called police, who showed up
to cuff the man on a felony
robbery charge, cops said.
Driver duped
A brazen thief looted the
cab of a box truck parked
on Fourth Avenue while the
driver rooted around in the
back on May 20.
The victim told police he
was in the back of his box
truck parked between Third
and Fourth avenues at 8 a.m.,
only to discover upon returning
to the driver’s seat
about 15 minutes later that
some crook had nabbed his
speakers, phone charger, and
wallet.
Tough luck
A burglar looted $700 from
the register of a 25th Street
gym on May 18.
The store’s owner told police
that he received a cellphone
notification that the
alarm at his fitness center between
Fourth and Fifth avenues
had been tripped at 3:25
p.m., and he rushed back to
find that a register there had
been ransacked.
