PAIR SOUGHT
IN CONNECTION
TO STRING OF
BENSONHURST
ROBBERIES
Cops are on the lookout for two
men wanted in connection to a string
of robberies in Bensonhurst and
beyond.
According to police, the pair of
men – both Hispanic, approximately
5’5” and 175 pounds – are wanted in
connections to robberies in the 62nd,
114th and 66th Precincts.
Authorities say that on Saturday,
March 31, the duo entered a gas station
at 7310 New Utrecht Avenue at
around 3:20 a.m., went behind the
counter and removed the register,
containing approximately $600, and
fled southbound on 16th Avenue by
foot.
The next day, the two were spotted
entering another gas station located
at 2225 Bath Avenue at about 9:15 p.m.
Once inside, the pair is said to have
gone behind the counter, displayed a
knife and pushed a 26-year-old man
inside against the wall. The crooks
pocketed about $700 and five packs of
cigarettes before fleeing northbound
on Bay 31st Street by foot.
On Monday, the pair made off with
approximately $300 from a Queens
grocery store, once again going
behind the countering. According
to cops, at about 4:30 a.m., the two
entered the store, located at 21-01
31st Street, and threatened to hurt
a 56-year-old man before fleeing
northbound on 32nd Street in a white
vehicle.
Finally, on Tuesday, cops say the
two entered a third gas station – this
time at 5025 Bay Parkway – at around
2:50 a.m., went behind the counter
and punched a 37-year-old man in the
head and shoulder before removing
the register, which contained approximately
$600, and eight packs of cigarettes.
The two then fled northbound
on McDonald Avenue in a vehicle.
Both were last seen wearing all
black.

62ND PRECINCT
The 62nd Precinct serves Bensonhurst, Bath Beach and Gravesend.
MEN BUSTED FOR ATTACK: Two males were arrested for allegedly attacking
and robbing a 33-year-old man inside an apartment lobby near Shore Parkway
and 21st Avenue on Thursday, April 12. According to reports, at around 9:20 p.m.,
the suspects followed the man into the lobby. While one put his arm around the
victim’s neck, the other alleged attacker punched the victim in the head and said,
“Give me all your money.” The perps then fled eastbound on Shore Parkway.
ALL FOR A PHONE: A 27-year-old man was arrested on Sunday, April 15 for
attacking a 33-year-old man and demanding his money on McDonald Avenue
between Kings Highway and Avenue S earlier that day. Reports say that at
around 4:45 a.m., the suspect approached the victim, allegedly punched him
in the forehead and back and asked for the victim's cash. The perp said, “Give
me your money or I will kill you” then took the victim’s cellphone and fled the
scene. Cops allegedly found a quantity of alleged on the suspect after he was
apprehended.

Police are seeking information in
identifying a man wanted for shooting
a gun in front of a hookah bar in
the Gowanus area.
According to authorities, on Saturday,
April 14 at around 2:15 a.m., the
suspect took out a firearm and shot
it in the air several times in front of
the establishment near 16th Street
and Third Avenue.

68TH PRECINCT
The 68th Precinct serves Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and Fort Hamilton.
FIVE AGAINST ONE: One of five suspects has been arrested for robbing
and hitting a 24-year-old man with a firearm on the southeast corner of Fifth
Avenue and 86th Street on Saturday, April 14. Reports say that at around 10:22
p.m., the victim was waiting for food when the five men, three known and two
unknown, attacked him. One of the suspects may have taken out a firearm,
striking the victim in the face with it. One of the unknown attackers then stole
the victim’s wallet and punched him. The suspects then fled the scene. Four
of the suspects have not been arrested. The suspect that was apprehended
did not have a gun.
BAD SAMARITAN: A 29-year-old woman had her credit cards stolen and used
by an unknown crook after she left her bag in an Uber on 67th Street between
Fort Hamilton Parkway and 10th Avenue on Friday, April 13. According to
reports, at around 12:30 a.m., she exited the car and forgot her bag, which
included credit cards, driver’s license, and $40. She was later notified by her
bank that her credit card had been used on Macys.com, with charges totaling
$685.91. No arrests have been made.
