Lehman College faculty and staff staged a Work-In in public hallways of Shuster Hall, the campus administration building, to protest underfunding of the university and to demand a fair
contract offer from CUNY that includes a just wage of $7,000 per course for adjunct faculty on Wednesday, February 13.

Councilman Andy King and notable Brooklyn hip hop
artist Casanova visited the Boston Secor Houses on
Tuesday, February 12 to speak with local youth about
the perils of street life and achieving personal success.
Casanova spoke with the youth about his journey
and the reasons he turned himself around.

P.S 105 STUDENTS MAKE VALENTINE’S DAY CARDS
Although it was snowy and cold outside, Councilman Mark Gjonaj had an amazing time with
Pre-K students at P.S. 105 as they made Valentine’s Day Cards for their parents and surprised
their teacher Ms. Fustafa.
Gjonaj presented each student with pink, blue and purple roses based on the book they read
together, ‘There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose!’
