LINCOLN’S DOCTOR HONORED AT ART SHOW
The Harlem Fine Arts Show celebrated a decade recognizing African Americans in art and its
third year of honoring African Americans in medicine on Friday, Febraury 15. This year’s Lincoln
Hospital honoree was Kecia Gaither, MD, MPH, FACOG, director of Perinatal Services and director
of Maternal Fetal Medicine. A perinatal consultant and womens’ health expert, Gaither’s expertise
is grounded in both research and her professional experience in caring for women with
multiple medical/surgical/fetal conditions in pregnancy. In her current role, Dr. Gaither serves
as the director of Perinatal Services/director of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Lincoln.
Dr. Gaither (c) accepted her award from Dion Clarke, Harlem Fine Arts Show founder and
Vanessa Tyler. Clarke’s mother was a graduate of the Lincoln School for Nursing.
