42nd Precinct
Wednesday, February 13 at 6:45 p.m. -- The
New York City Police Department is asking for the
public’s assistance in identifying the person of interest
wanted for questioning in connection to a grand
larceny. Cops got a report of an individual, a 51-yearold
woman, who was in front of 949 E. 174th Street
and realized she no longer had her wallet. Among the
items inside the wallet were eight credit cards.
The ensuing investigation determined that on the
same day, an unidentified man used two of the victim’s
credit cards to make over $400 worth of unauthorized
purchases at various locations. The person
of interest is described as a black man who was last
seen wearing a black coat with fur-lined hood, a red
and blue sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers.
43rd Precinct
Wednesday, February 13 at 2:30 p.m. -- The
NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining
the whereabouts of two unidentifi ed males who are seen
in photos on this page and are sought in connection with
a robbery. The individual entered Bronx Sports, located
at 1574 Westchester Avenue, and took a Spray Ground
backpack without paying. The individual pushed an
employee before escaping.
45th Precinct
Saturday, March 2 at 9:08 p.m. -- Police are
asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the
person of interest wanted for questioning in connection
to the below described homicide. Cops responded
to a report of a person assaulted in front of 4160
Hutchinson River Parkway East.
Upon arrival officers discovered a 27-year-old
man seated inside of a black Toyota Camry with stab
wounds to his neck and torso.
EMS took the man to Jacobi Hospital where he
succumbed to his injuries.
The person wanted for questioning fled the scene
on foot westbound on Bartow Avenue and was last
seen walking northbound on Co-op City Boulevard.
He’s described as a man wearing all dark colored
clothing.
Saturday, February 23 at 3:15 p.m.-- The New
York City Police Department is asking for the public’s
assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of two
unidentified males who are sought in connection with
a robbery.
A 20-year-old man was approached at the corner
of Bartow Avenue and Co-op City Boulevard.
One unidentified man grabbed the victim’s gold
Beats headphones, worth about $300, from the victim’s
head.
The second individual brandished a cutting instrument.
The victim complied and wasn’t injured.
One of the individuals is a black or Hispanic man
with a light complexion.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket with fur,
a red hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants with a
white stripe and red sneakers.
The second is a black man who was last seen
wearing a red du rag, a gray or dark green hooded
jacket with fur, black sweatpants with a red stripe and
gray sneakers.

ACCIDENTAL ELECTRICIAL WIRING FIRE ON LOGAN AVE.
Firefi ghters quickly extinguished a fi re in Throggs Neck last week. Approximately 60
fi refi ghters and 12 FDNY units responded to a fi re at 830 Logan Avenue on Wednesday,
February 27 at 7:38 p.m. Firefi ghters were able to gain control over the fi re by
7:56 p.m. Fire marshals determined that the incident was an accidental electrical
wiring fi re. No injuries were reported.
Firefi ghters were stationed outside of 830 Logan Avenue after extinguishing the fi re.
