celebration featured African doll crafting by Vickie Fremont; hands-on plant science activities by Mercedes Harris;
‘I Am Beautiful’ poetry showcase by Jamie Lee Lewis; African Dance and Drumming history by Frank Malloy, an art
exhibition by NYBG volunteer DePrator and a special presentation by Harambee Dance Company.(insert) Harambee
Dance Company’s Nyenah Stuart danced through the audience with the her fellow performers.
