In Honor of Women’s History Month, Councilman
Mark Gjonaj hosted a Women Empowerment
Town Hall in which over 400 P.S. 83
students met with Jessica Wilson, assistant
professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering
at Manhattan College, who addressed
gender stereotypes in STEM and encouraging
young women to pursue careers
in engineering.

KINGSBRIDGE VA VETS BELLY BOMBER BINGO
The Theodore Korony American Legion Post 253 Family provided a fun night with care for
veterans here at home. On Wednesday, March 13, they held another fun time at the James
J Peterson Veterans Medical Center providing veterans with White Castle Burgers and soda
and assorted special gifts.
