PORT MORRIS BUILDING FACADE COLLAPSE
Several cars were crushed in a Port Morris building facade collapse. Several cars
were damaged after bricks from a 120 foot by 10 foot section of the parapet wall facade
fell to the ground on Wednesday, March 20 at 3 p.m. at 850 E. 140th Street near
Walnut Avenue. No injuries were reported, however approximately fi ve vehicles
parked below were crushed by the falling brick. The building’s owner was issued a
fi ne for failing to maintain the building. The NYC Department of Buildings confi rmed
that the building is structurally secure.

Wednesday, March 13 at 11:50 a.m. -- The
NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying
a man wanted for questioning in connection
to a forcible touching incident. An 19-year-old female
victim was walking inside a residential building
in the vicinity of East 149th Street and Courtlandt
Ave, when an unidentified male grabbed her
buttocks. The male fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
The person wanted for questioning is described
as a male black; last seen wearing dark
clothing and a backpack.

42nd Precinct
Saturday, February 16 at 11:30 a.m. -- The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
the individual depicted in a still from a surveillance
video in connection to a grand larceny
complaint. On the corner of East 169th Street
and Intervale Avenue, aboard the Bx35 bus, an
unidentified individual approached a 20-year-old
female victim and forcibly removed headphones
from her head before exiting the bus through the
rear door. The individual fled in an unknown direction.
The individual is described as a male Black,
late teens to early twenties, approximately 5’10”
tall, and weighing about 160 pounds. He was
last seen wearing a fur-lined winter coat, a black
hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black sneakers.

43rd Precinct
Wednesday, March 13 at 3:05 p.m. -- The
NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying
a male wanted for questioning in connection
to a robbery. The robbery occurred, according
to a complaint report, near Homer Street and
Pugsley Avenue. An unidentified male simulating
a firearm approached a 18-year-old victim. The
male punched and kicked the 18-year-old victim
and removed his white Yeezy sneakers, iPhone 7,
necklace and wallet containing $300. The victim
was not seriously injured and refused medical attention
at the scene. The person wanted for questioning
is described as a male black, 5’7”, stocky
build, in his teens; last seen wearing a blue jacket
and gray sweatpants. Anyone with information

52nd Precinct
Thursday, March 21 at 12:27 p.m.-- Police
responded to a 911 call of a male in the water, in
the vicinity Harlem River and the University Heights
Bridge. NYPD’s Harbor unit responded and recovered
the unconscious and unresponsive unidentified
male from the water. EMS responded to the
location and pronounced the individual deceased
on scene. The New York City Medical Examiner will
determine the cause of death and the investigation
remains ongoing.
