CB 6 HELPS HAPPY LAND CLEANUP
Community Board 6 held a cleanup day on Saturday, March 23 at the Happy Land Monument to rid the site of debris and repaint its fence and benches prior to the annual ceremony commemorating
the tragedy’s 29th anniversary on Monday, March 25. The monument is a tribute to the 87 people who died in a tragic arson fi re at a social club called Happy Land in 1990.
