School students for volunteering their time at a Pelham Parkway Community Clean Up Day.

SPENCER ESTATE CIVIC ASSOCIATION MEETING
Councilman Mark Gjonaj had the pleasure to attend the Spencer Estate Civic Association
monthly meeting to discuss some of their most pressing quality of life issues such as petty
crime, safety and law enforcement as well as other essential services.

Councilman Mark Gjonaj was proud to attend and congratulate Community Educational
Council 8 on their Recognition Ceremony awarding one student from each of the 37 schools
in the 13th Council District with the Kindness Award for their thoughts, words and actions.
The students’ acts of kindness have made their schools and the borough “Bronx Strong.”
