GJONAJ HOSTS WOMEN EMPOWERMENT TOWN HALL
43rd Precinct
Thursday, February 21 at 12:15 p.m. -- The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
males in connection with a robbery incident. A
group of men assaulted a 39-year-old man inside of
his apartment in the vicinity of Powell and Pugsley
avenues. They fled the scene with the victim’s cell
phone. Anyone with information should reach out to
police.
45th Precinct
Sunday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. -- The NYPD
is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two
individuals wanted in connection to a robbery. A
21-year-old victim was inside of a grocery store at
1400 Castle Hill Avenue when he was approached
by two unidentified men who threatened to shoot
him unless he gave them his backpack. The victim
handed over his backpack and the unidentified men
fled in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
One of the individuals is described as a black
man who is approximately 5’10” tall and in his midtwenties.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded
sweatshirt, blue sweatpants and blue sneakers. The
second individual is also a black man who is about
the same age and weight as the first individual. The
second man was last seen wearing a blue hooded
jacket with imitation fur around the hood, a black
tee shirt, grey sweatpants and white sneakers (see
photo).

46th Precinct
Tuesday, March 19 at 4:45 p.m. -- The NYPD
is asking the public’s help in identifying two individuals
regarding a robbery that took place inside of an
apartment building in the vicinity University Avenue
and Featherbed Lane. A 12-year-old male victim was
walking into his building when two unidentified individuals
approached him from behind and pinned him
against a wall. The individuals then forcibly removed
the victims iPhone 6 Plus before fleeing on foot, towards
East 175th Street and Montgomery Avenue.
There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
One of the individuals is a Hispanic man who is between
20- to 30-years-old who was last seen wearing

49th Precinct
Monday, March 11 at 5 p.m. -- The NYPDis
asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an
individual in connection to an attempted grand larceny
incident. Inside of a Chase Bank location at
2126 White Plains Road, an unidentified individual
presented a fake identification to make a withdrawal
from an account that belonged to a 65-year-old senior
citizen. When she was confronted by the teller,
she left the location and fled in an unknown direction.
She is described as a female black who is in her
forties (see photo).

Wednesday, March 13 at 3:30 p.m. -- The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
a man wanted for questioning in connection to
a public lewdness incident. The person in question
exposed himself while inside of MV Laundromat at
2131 Holland Avenue. He is wanted for questioning
and is described as a male, Black, approximately six
feet tall, 20 to 30-years-old and between 140 and
180 pounds. He was last seen wearing an Adidas
track suit and sandals (see photo).
