The New Bronx Chamber of Commerce Hosts
In honor of Women’s History Month, the New Bronx Chamber of Commerce hosted its ‘Visionary Women-Champions of Peace and Non-Violence’ Women of Distinction Luncheon
on Friday, March 29 at the Villa Barone Manor. This year’s honorees were Darlene Rodriguez, Today in New York/WNBC-TV anchor and Dr. Esther D. Henry, House of
the Lord Ministries Inc. senior pastor. District Attorney Darcel Clark was the keynote speaker and Mistress of Ceremonies Mary Calvi, CBS2 This Morning and CBS2 At Noon
journalist, debuted her novel, ‘Dear George, Dear Mary’ during the celebration.
The Chamber honored female students from high schools throughout the Bronx by providing them scholarships for their outstanding scholastic performance.
