
ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIANS HONOR LEADERS
The Bronx County Ancient Order of Hibernians attended their annual Mass at St. Barnabas
Church followed by breakfast at The Heritage-Eileen’s on Sunday, April 7. Awards were presented
to Michael O’Connell, Michael Early, John Mooney and John Casserly for service to
their divisions. Robert Nolan presented special citations to Joseph McManus, Kevin Ellis,
Dolores Desch, Linda O’Brien and John Hyland.

STUDENTS REVITALIZE ST. PETER’S GROUNDS
Councilman Mark Gjonaj’s Offi ce joined students from Columbus High School and St. Catharine
Academy in revitalizing the grounds around St. Peter’s Church.

BENEDETTO & STUDENTS TOUR BIOBUS
Assemblyman Michael Benedetto recently joined students at P.S. 153 and Truman High School in touring the BioBus. The BioBus’ mission is to help minority, female and low-income K - 12
and college students in NYC discover, explore and pursue science.
