HOCHUL DISCUSS FISCAL YEAR 2020 BUDGET
Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul and local elected offi cials attended a presentation of the NYS Fiscal Year 2020 Budget in the Bronx on Thursday, April 11 at St. Barnabas Hospital’s
auditorium. The new budget, which was passed into law on April 1, includes provisions that affect labor and employment, energy, media, fi nance, health care and other industries.

The WELL Campaign, an advocacy effort to
improve student health and well-being in
NYS, joined Bronx Health REACH/Institute for
Family Health hosted a roundtable discussion
with community members, educators,
elected offi cials and health advocates at
Morrisania Diagnostic & Treatment Center.
The roundtable discussion brought up many
interesting topics and insightful opinions.
