41st Precinct Hosts Autism Walk
In honor of National Autism Awareness Month, the 41st Precinct Auxiliary Unit and NYPD CARES co-hosted the fourth annual Autism Awareness Walk on
Wednesday, April 17 at 1035 Longwood Avenue. All proceeds raised by the walk will benefi t CARES COPS, a nonprofi t assisting police offi cers and community

Police offi cers, children, families and residents marched around the precinct
and surrounding neighborhood in support of National Autism Awareness
Month.
The 41st Precinct and 41st Precinct Auxiliary Unit presented checks to Autism Speaks and NYPD CARES.

cer, received a commendation from the offi ces of elected
offi cials.
