Bailey Celebrates Mother’s
Day in Co-op City
Senator Jamaal Bailey hosted his third annual Mother’s Day celebration in the Einstein Community Center on Saturday, May 4.
The event featured free hair, nails, sip and paint, a Salsa lesson, massage services and chess lessons courtesy of the Young Kings
and Queens Chess Club. Cristina Contreras, North Central Bronx Hospital executive director, served as the celebration’s keynote
speaker.
Local youth enjoyed learning and playing chess thanks to the
Young Kings and Queens Chess Club.
