The Albanian American Open Hand Association and ICNA Relief USA co-hosted a food giveaway on Sunday, March 3 to help Bronxites prepare for the approaching snowstorm.

NYC Parks Arts, Culture & Fun commemorated Women’s History Month with a book reading by ‘Daughters of the Stone’ author Dahlma Llanos-Figueroa on Saturday, March 16 at Poe Park Visitor
Center. Daughters of the Stone covers fi ve generations of Afro Latinas from Africa to Puerto Rico to NYC and is a beautiful saga about mothers and daughters that is simply timeless.

Little Kids Rock and One Million Guitars donated 24 new guitars to Heketi Community Charter School on Monday, March 11 to be used for Heketi’s Music Education program.
