BROOKLYN MAN KILLED IN CLAREMONT SHOOTING
Police need your help solving a fatal shooting in Claremont. According to 42nd Precinct
police, police offi cers responded to a report of a person assaulted in front of
622 E. 168th Street on Wednesday, April 3 at 2 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered
28-year-old Brooklyn resident Quamel Anderson with a gunshot wound to his torso.
EMS transported Anderson to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A second victim, an unidentifi ed 34-year-old, walked into Lincoln Hospital with a
gunshot wound to his leg. No arrests have been made in this ongoing investigation.

40th Precinct
Thursday, March 21 at 6:20 p.m. -- The
NYPDis asking for the public’s assistance identifying
a man wanted for questioning in connection
with an assault. Cops got a report a 16-year-old
who was shot while walking near 300 East 143rd
Street. He was approached by two unidentified
men in possession of firearms who shot at the victim.
The victim subsequently sustained a gunshot
wound to the head and was transported by EMS
to Lincoln Hospital in critical but stable condition.
The two male assailants fled on foot on Morris Avenue.
Persons wanted for questioning in the incident
are described as men who are Hispanics in
their late teens or early 20s. They were last seen
wearing all dark clothing.

41st Precinct
Thursday, April 4 at 2:34 p.m. -- The NYPD
is asking the public’s assistance identifying the
operator of the vehicle depicted in the attached
surveillance photos and video wanted for questioning
in connection to an attempted luring of
a child. The incident occurred at the southeast
corner of Seneca and Longfellow avenues when
a 10-year-old male victim was walking home and
was approached by a man driving a silver minivan.
The driver asked him if he wanted to get in
and the child declined. The unidentified driver fled
westbound on Seneca Avenue towards Bryant Avenue.
There were no injuries reported as a result
of this incident.

Monday, April 8 at 3:50 a.m. -- The NYPD is
seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an
individual wanted in connection with a burglary
and a related incident. The crime occurred in an
apartment near Kelly Street and Leggett Avenue.
A 16-year-old female victim awoke inside of her
residence to find the unidentified male individual
standing over her. The male grabbed the victim’s
hand and placed it over his genital area, above his
clothing, and subsequently fled the location when
the victim broke free from his grasp. There were
no injuries incurred as a result of the incident. The
person being sought for questioning is described
as a Black male who is in his twenties. He was last
seen wearing a black jacket, white tee shirt, red
sweatpants and black sneakers.

52nd Precinct
Wednesday, March 27 at 12:45 p.m.-- The
New York City Police Department is asking for the
public’s assistance in ascertaining the identities of
four males and one female wanted for questioning
in connection with a robbery. In front of 255 Kingsbridge
Road, a 36-year-old male victim was approached
by four males and one female who began
to restrain the victim and push him to the ground.
The individuals removed approximately $2500
from the victim before fleeing in unknown direction.
The victim was uninjured and refused medical
attention at the scene. The individuals sought
for questioning are four male black and one black
female who are in their 20s.
